‘scuse the shitey picture (might make a prettier picture at some point) but i’ve crunched the numbers, made a graph and i think we’re due for a 4th wave of ska. Possibly to peak in the mid/late 10’s
if it does happen, let it be known that i totally called it.
(also, 2 tone/2nd wave grew up listening to 60’s ska/1st wave, skapunk/3rd wave grew up listening to 2 tone/2nd wave and now there is a whole bunch of kids that grew up on 3rd wave ska out there…)
This seems plausible. Quite excited for the 4th wave of ska.
